ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I never have dogs for daycare or overnight boarding that I have not met; I have a great group of regular daycare dogs and boarders who stay with me throughout the year, and I like to make sure any new dogs will be compatible with both my own pets and my regulars.
You will receive regular updates, as I post photos and videos on my Facebook and Instagram pages so you can see your dogs having fun while they are out and about on their walks and staying with me.
Important Notes
For all new overnight boarders, I offer a meet and greet service; this consists of me coming to your house to meet you and your dog in his/her own environment. If this goes well, I will then invite you to bring your dog to my house a few days later for part two of the meet and greet process. You will be able to see where your dog will be staying, ask any questions, and we can also go for a walk so that I can see how your dogs are when out and about.
All new overnight boarders must also have a minimum of one-night sleepover before their big stay with me, at a cost of £40 per dog, for up to 24 hours, (the applicable daycare rate will apply for over the 24 hour duration). This is a licensing requirement for any stay of 3 nights or longer.
I also like to have a meet and greet with all new daycare dogs, usually consisting of a walk and meeting at my house.
This is a great opportunity to ensure that your dog is suited to my home boarding environment and is compatible with my pets and my regulars. If their big stay is a way off, I also like to schedule in occasional daycare days to familiarise them with coming to me.
I am unable to accomodate last minute enquiries for dogs I have never met, with no time for the meet and greets or one night sleepover.
For Boarding dogs collected after 0915 Mon-Fri or after 1000 on a Weekend/Bank Holiday the applicable day boarding rate will apply.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to book your dog's stay, and the remaining balance is required prior to your dog's arrival.
Additional Requirements
- All dogs should be up-to date with their annual vaccinations or Titre tested with Lepto 2 booster. I will need a copy of their vaccination record for your file.
- All dogs MUST be microchipped, this became a legal requirement in April 2016 - I will require the microchip number.
- I recommend that all dogs be neutered as soon as they are of the right age and size. Exemptions are at my discretion.
- All dogs must receive regular flea and worming treatments.
- I also ask that you vaccinate your dog for kennel cough, and this vaccination must be done at least 7 days before they board with me.
- If your dog requires any veterinary treatment while with me, I will take your dog to either your vet or if this is not possible my own vet. Any treatment costs will be your responsibility.
- All dogs MUST be well socialised with other dogs of all sizes and colour. I cannot accommodate dogs who do not cope well with other dogs, dogs suffering from seperation anxiety or dogs who are reactive towards other dogs.
- All dogs MUST be house trained and non-destructive (although I understand with very young puppies under six months there may be accidents here and there). Damage caused by older dogs may incur a charge.
